HELMET Shoei GT-Air 2 interior visor parasol
Thanks to its aggressive look, innovative design and exceptional safety features, GT-Air has been a reference in the Touring segment since its presentation in 2013.
With the introduction of the new GT-Air II the level was raised again.
GT-Air II is presented in 7 colors and 9 graphic variants with an aggressive line and a compact cap size, all studied in our wind tunnel, for relaxed driving in the absence of turbulence.
In addition, GT-Air II is prepared for the installation of the communication system SENA SRL2 (SHOEI RIDER LINK2), which is perfectly interned in the shape of the shell, eliminating the presence of external control units.
The 3D(CNS-1) shaped visor with its optimized mechanism offers an extended field of view and an optimal shape for better airtight closure.
The new QSV-2 interior visor installed in the GT-Air II has been extended by 5 mm to reduce the amount of light coming from the bottom and eliminate any disturbance related to this phenomenon.
The stainless steel retention system and fully removable and washable inner padding ensure maximum comfort for the wearer.
The 6 sizes available (XS-XXL) are divided into 3 different sizes of outer shell (1. XS-M, 2. L, 3. XL-XXL) for optimal fit and size reduction.

Shoei evolves its famous Sport-Touring helmet and creates the Gt-Air 2, with the latest technological innovations.
GT-Air 2 is the most modern and has a fully evolved ventilation system and internal padding. It stands out by offering a very compact design and with the possibility of installing a communication system fully integrated with the design of the helmet.

Security
-The outer shell (external structure) consists of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix): Composed of organic and multi-composite fibers from various layers of fibers that absorb impacts optimally.
-The inner shell (internal structure) is composed of two parts of an EPS of different densities that provide a high degree of impact absorption.
-Incorporates the Emergency Quick Release System (EQRS), which facilitates the extraction of the helmet from the outside in the event of an accident by removing the side padding.
-Includes a closure system with micrometric adjustment made at the 100% stainless steel system. The position of the belt has changed from the previous model, to provide greater comfort and to avoid possible friction.
-SNC-1 visor, which offers a wide field of vision and guarantees 99% UV protection. Pinlock Evo series an always clear vision, in any climatic conditions. The visor mechanism has been redesigned and equipped with an airtight edge with water drainage points. It has a system of micro openings of the visor to ventilate the helmet and anti-fog in extreme cases. The visor is easily disassembled without tools.

Comfort
-3 different external shell sizes for a better fit of each size.
-Internal padding of the new GT-Air 2 is made of different types of fabrics. We used fabrics that offer high moisture absorption capacity and quick drying in the cheek area and forehead.
-Padded 3D center for maximum comfort.
-Padding cheeks in different layers of polyurethane of different densities for greater comfort and fit.
-Removable and washable padding, in the area of the ears to reduce noise.
-Side padding design optimized for glasses wearers.
-Padded interior completely removable and washable.
-QSV-2 sun visor with anti-fog and scratch treatment with 99% UV protection. Visor easily maneuverable from the outside even with thick gloves. It is approved in accordance with the provisions of the European standard for sunglasses and is easily removed without tools.

Ventilation
-Redesigned ventilation system, consisting of adjustable air inflows in the upper area and on the chin guard and 2 air intakes fully integrated into the rear and nape spoilers.
-The airflow obtained with the new ventilation system has been significantly increased compared to the previous model.

Aerodynamic
-aerodynamics has been improved and studied in the wind tunnel to make it quieter.

Communication
-The Shoei GT-Air 2 system integrates the ability to integrate the communication system SENA SRL (sold separately).
-The new communication system does not affect the aesthetics of the hull line.
