The SMX Plus v2 boot perfectly combines elegant sports style with the advanced protection features developed in the performance footwear department of Alpinestars. The durable and lightweight microfiber upper is reinforced with durable polymer protection and the unique Multi-Link Control (MLC) system prevents ankle twisting by offering freedom of movement.

Construction
• Advanced microfiber upper structure for high performance protection and excellent flexibility.
• The front bending area is made with a soft microfiber to improve abrasion resistance and natural forward and backward movement.
• Flexible bellows microfiber on Achilles for better natural movement.
• Strategically positioned ventilation area in the heel and upper in TPU for breathability and airflow.
• The entrance/exit from the outside features an extendable accordion panel for a tight fit and ease of access and removal. The high-module shaped heel protector gives superior impact and abrasion strength.
• An evolution of Alpinestars 's unique Multi-Link Control system provides advanced external protection and support for ankle joints, limiting hyper-torsion, hyper-extension and hyper-flexion as well as providing Achilles and ankle impact protection.
• Large heel with lateral ventilation that extends to the ankle and is combined with a cushioning padded insert and self-modeling ankle protectors.

• Double density TPU replaceable tip slider with screw mounting that provides protective cover around the outer area.
• The replaceable heel slider and the outer side heel slider are positioned to dissipate and absorb shocks and facilitate slipping during an accident.
