Motorcycle jet helmet Nolan N40-5
It 's the new jet of Nolan, restyling of N40, which confirms the already popular technical features and renews the upper air intake, the visor, the shutters and the internal padding comfort Clima Comfort. Ultra-wide visor, VPS sunscreen (adjustable in several positions), AirBooster Technology upper ventilation system, visor (available depending on the segment - characterized by a coordinated movement with the visor) and preparation for the communication system N-Com want to make N405 a jet interesting in both scooter and motorcycle.
Features:
ULTRAWIDE VISOR
The large surface of the visor, scratch resistant (S / R - Scratch Resistant), makes it possible to have a greater view, even lateral, thus ensuring maximum driving comfort and increasing active safety. It is also able to protect the rider's face from water and wind, while still ensuring adequate air circulation inside the helmet, if it is used in jet configuration.
SUNSCREEN SCREEN (VPS) WITH UV PROTECTION 400
Located inside the helmet, it is printed in LEXANTM* and provides S/R (Scratch Resistant) and F/R (Fog Resistant) treatment. It offers UV protection up to 400 nanometers and can be easily removed when not needed or for maintenance and cleaning. * LEXANTM* IS A TRADEMARK OF SABIC
VENTILATION SYSTEM + AIRBOOSTER TECHNOLOGY
The exclusive "AirBooster Technology" top ventilation system ensures optimal ventilation where the rider's head needs it most: the air is, in fact, taken from the upper air intake and forced, without dispersion, into the most critical areas, in order to ensure maximum comfort even in extreme riding conditions. The ventilation system also consists of: - visor air intake allows ventilation at the mouth and conveys air directly onto the visor, limiting fogging; - rear extractors allow the expulsion of hot and stale air, ensuring optimal comfort inside the helmet.
COORDINATED MOVEMENT OF VISOR AND FRONT
The visor, moulded in LEXANTM* polycarbonate, is adjustable in two positions, in order to guarantee greater comfort in the various conditions of use. It is also characterised by a system that allows coordinated movement with the visor. During the last phase of the visor opening manoeuvre, the visor reaches the visor, which rotates further, thus allowing the visor to completely exit the field of vision. During the closing manoeuvre of the visor, the visor initially remains in the maximum opening position previously reached and, subsequently, is automatically dragged downwards, together with the visor, positioning itself and remaining stable in the initial position.
UNDERGROUND BANDS INTEGRATED IN THE HEADSET
Removable and washable, they facilitate the fit of the helmet, as well as its wearability.
PREDISPOSITION N-COM
The helmet is prepared and approved with the communication system N-Com installed and the innovative ESS

POLYCARBONATE OUTERHELMET
It is injection moulded in LEXANTM* polycarbonate, the resin that, with the same shape, thickness and process, ensures superior performance (to other plastic materials), especially in terms of resistance to strong impacts: during the impact resistance test, this product recorded values of 900/1000 J/m, against the maximum values of 550/600 J/m of ABS resin. In addition, LEXANTM* resin, developed and produced by SABIC Innovative Plastics (formerly General Electric Plastics), also stands out for its thermal resistance: the range of LEXANTM* resin from SABIC Innovative Plastics is from -30°C to +120°C (for ABS: from -20°C to +50°C). Nolan carries out regular tests on painted and unpainted shells, both at room temperature and conditioned at -20°C, using a compressed air cannon on which the shell and chin guard are placed. The test involves stressing the sample by means of a bullet fired at an energy of about 300 joules against specific points of impact.in the painting departments, we mainly use water-based paints (defined as "environmentally friendly", as they contain solvents in low percentages) with a protective finish Hi-Brite (Protective Hard Coating), to ensure a glossy color extended over time. The painting process is also tested, through a special thermal cell inside which the caps are conditioned with specific thermal cycles of about 14 hours with relative humidity from 10% to 75% and temperatures from 40°C to 80°C. An extreme temperature test at 100°C is also carried out in order to ensure that the decals are suitable in all climatic conditions. * LEXANTM IS A TRADEMARK OF SABIC
